Todd Alsup will be busy this summer. He’s playing and singing an average of six shows a week at two of the best listening rooms in town – Tin Pan Alley and The Crown & Anchor’s Dive Bar. The rotating nightly sets will include an eclectic mix of classic pop, rock and R&B. There’ll be a healthy dash of Mr. Alsup’s soulful originals alongside all that Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Elton John and Motown. Additionally, every Sunday afternoon from 3:30-6:30, Sunday Soul Classic with Todd Alsup will satiate your happy hour hankering for favorite smooth R&B jams.

It’s an exciting moment for Todd, who is currently in the studio recording a slew of new material to be steadily released over the next year. His existing recorded catalog showcases his knack for intelligent, soulful and deeply personal storytelling. Lush piano lines and Alsup’s signature vocals fill out a modern pop/soul discography overflowing with catchy hooks.
Todd Alsup was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit. His studio albums have received various accolades including a 2012 Out Music Award for Pop Song of the Year, a Yamaha endorsement, placements on MTV and PBS and features in Billboard Magazine and Performing Songwriter. In addition to his frequent engagements in NYC, Alsup regularly tours nationally and internationally.
