On Friday, June 1st, vocalist Dawn Derow hosted a Memorial Musical Luncheon honoring two well known and beloved members of the Cabaret Community who passed this year: Maestro Barry Levitt and Singer Charlotte Patton. The performers honoring them were; Warren Schein, Patricia Fitzpatrick, Carolyn Montgomery, John DeMarco and Jeff Harnar, accompanied on piano by Brian Patton, Alex Rybeck, and Brian Sommers.
Carole O’Shaugnessy performed with Tom LaMark at the “Big Variety Show”, Friday night, which ended the days festivities at the Crown and Anchor. Emcee, Patricia Fitzpatrick introduced Twenty Five Performers and musicians from NYC, Boston, Florida, Chicago and Palm Springs who performed at the show.
Todays shows include a Tribute to Mel Torme’ starring, Warren Schein (above) at 4PM.
*At 5:30 PM, Carol O’Shaughnessy will perform her show, “Ring-A-Ding-Ding” with musical director Tom LaMark …. Followed by a Special Show honoring Ms. O’Shaughnessy Emcee’d by Cabaret Fests Founder, John O’Neil.
**Last, but NOT least, Tonight at 10PM see the, “1959 Broadway Songbook – Headliner Show” … Starring Mac Award winner (2017) Jeff Harnar, with musical director Alex Rybeck.
