Julian Fleisher and his Intense Gays will be performing at The Club, from July 11-14, 2019.
Julian Fleisher came to New York from his native Baltimore (after a stint at Yale) and first came on the New York music scene as a swinging band vocalist in the tradition of Mel Tormé and Sammy Davis, Jr. In recent years, he’s evolved into a gifted polymath who has made room in his sound for a wide world of deeply loved influences.
Julian is also the host of two shows on WNYC – 44 Charlton, a monthly variety show by, for and about New York from The Greene Space, WNYC’s state-of-the-art performance studio and The Naked American Songbook, a music and talk show, all about The Great American Songbook.
Julian will be joined by his Intense Gays, which include Mark Hartman (piano), Sean Murphy (bass) and Bryan Carter (drums). Do not miss this unforgettable evening with one of New York’s finest live performers.
